Description

What do the Grays Bay-area shorelines, riverbanks and the places that matter to you look like today? How will they look in the future? You’re invited to a workshop series to answer this question.

The first workshop will take place on Thursday, May 25 at 6 pm at Rosburg Hall. It will explore existing flooding-related issues, places that matter to you, and community priorities which could be impacted by sea level rise (increased flooding, erosion, and salinity intrusion). This is the first of three workshops to develop specific actions that help Grays Bay be resilient, now and into the future.

Pizza and snacks will be provided. Small gifts from local businesses and a raffle ticket for door prizes will be offered to all workshop participants. A kids drawing and activity table will be set up in the room.

These workshops are hosted by Washington Sea Grant and the Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership. For more information, contact Jackson Blalock, Washington Sea Grant, at jackbla@uw.edu
