Description
Help establish newly planted native trees and shrubs at Salmon Creek Greenway Trail. We will be cutting back grasses from around native plants.
Friday, July 28th, 10AM-1PM

All ages and abilities are welcome. Let us know if you need accommodations to participate.

Youth age 15 + may volunteer without an adult present.
Accessibility: The planting site will be accessed by 15-minute walk on a packed dirt trail. The project area is very flat.
We'll provide: Work gloves, tools, and snacks.
What to wear: Long sleeves, pants, sturdy sneakers or boots.
What you should bring: Water bottle, sun/raingear and layers.
Directions: A reminder email with directions and parking info will be sent 2-3 days before the event.
Schedule:
10:00 AM - Check in and hike into site
10:15 AM - Introductions, project orientation, safety
10:30 AM - Cutting grasses and thistle (taking personal breaks when needed)
12:45 PM - Wrap up and hike back to parking area
1:00 PM - End of event
