Free Big Canoe Trip on the Willamette - July 27th

Join your community in a fun paddling adventure on the Willamette River. See wildlife, natural areas being restored and views of Linnton from the water. The 2.5 mile, leisurely, 2-hour paddles are specifically for Linnton area residents. Transportation will be provided from the Linnton Community Center to Cathedral Park (launch site), and from Fred’s Marina (land point) back to LCC.

Picnic dinner provided! No paddling experience necessary. Children ages 7 and above are welcome!

Funded through a Metro Central Enhancement grant and provided through the Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership.

Schedule

5:30 PM   Gather at Linnton Community Center and ride provided transportation to Cathedral Park

6:00 PM   Meet Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership Paddle Instructors, safety and paddling demo

6:30 PM  Paddle on the Willamette River

8:30 PM  Arrive at Fred's Marina and head back to LCC in provided transportation
