Description
Plant trees to enhance native habitat and improve the water quality of South Scappoose Creek in partnership with the Scappoose Bay Watershed Council and the Estuary Partnership.
Saturday, March 1st, 9 AM - NOON
Pre-registration is required.

All ages and abilities are welcome. Let us know if you need accommodations to participate.

Youth age 15 + may volunteer without an adult present.
Accessibility: The planting site is near the park's parking lot. The project area ranges from flat and in grass to muddy and sloped.
We'll provide: Planting gloves, shovels, snacks and warm beverages.
What to wear: Long sleeves, pants, sturdy sneakers or boots. Dress for the weather: extra layers are helpful.
What you should bring: Water bottle, sun/raingear.
Directions: A reminder email with directions will be sent 3 days before the event.

9:00 AM - Check in
9:15 AM - Introductions, project orientation, safety and planting demo
9:30 AM - Planting native trees and shrubs (taking personal breaks when needed)
11:50 PM - Wrap up
12:00 PM - End of event
