Description
Take care of newly planted native trees and shrubs by mulching new plants. Mulch will help these plants survive The event is in partnership with the Clackamas River Basin Council and the Estuary Partnership.
Saturday, April 18th, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Pre-registration is preferred.
All ages and abilities are welcome. No prior experience is necessary. Please let us know if you need accommodations to participate due to language, disability, or other needs.

Youth aged 15 + may volunteer without an adult present.
Accessibility: The project site is a short walk from the parking lot. The ground is uneven, and the pond banks are steep, so watch your step and know your comfort level when walking around the site.
We'll provide: Work gloves, tools, snacks, and beverages.
What to wear: Sturdy sneakers or boots. Dress for the weather: extra layers are helpful.
What you should bring: Water bottle, sun/raingear.

1:15 PM - Introductions and project orientation
1:30 PM - Planting native trees and shrubs
4:00 PM - End of event
